Softball Recap: Prairie Du Chien's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Bangor on Saturday, Prairie du Chien came back down to earth. The Blackhawks fell 16-13 to the Dodgeville Dodgers on Monday. Surprisingly, this marked the Blackhawks' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Rita Achenbach made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-6 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. April Smith was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Prairie du Chien's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Dodgeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.
