Soccer Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Kirkwood

Kirkwood won the last time they faced Springfield and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cobras never let the Yellow Jackets get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That's two games straight that Kirkwood have won by exactly three goals.

Grayson Sims and Jamaal Bradley scored all three of Kirkwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

The win made it two in a row for Kirkwood and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Springfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Kirkwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Kenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield's defense better be ready for this one: Kenwood have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
