American Heritage extends road losing streak to four

If the American Heritage Stallions were riding high off their 45-20 takedown of the West Boca Raton Bulls on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. American Heritage fell 55-42 to the Sharks on Thursday. If American Heritage was looking for revenge after losing 37-30 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

American Heritage lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Skylar Turk, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Briyanna Doden, who scored ten points.

American Heritage's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American Heritage and the Titans will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Treasure Coast is ranked 240th, while the Stallions are ranked 218th). As for Atlantic Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th.
