Lapel skates past Elwood with ease

The Lapel Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Elwood at home to the tune of 68-34. The win was nothing new for Lapel as they're now sitting on five straight.
Brode B judge was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lapel's points. Matthew Carpenter was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Lapel now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Elwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Lapel won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd. Anderson is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.2 points per game. Pendleton Heights presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Elwood in Indiana (Pendleton Heights is ranked 129th, while Elwood is ranked 400th).
