Baseball Recap: Jackson Fighting Indians vs. Central Tigers

Jackson proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Central Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Fighting Indians have posted since March 23rd.

Carter Shipman looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
