Crawford County is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Marion County and fell 66-28. Crawford County was down 44-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Macon County entered their tilt with Schley County on Wednesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 43-33 win over the Wildcats.

Crawford County better keep an eye on Morgan Cochran. She was instrumental in Macon County's win, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Cochran is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mya Waters, who posted six points.

Macon County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.6 points per game. As for Crawford County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Crawford County took a serious blow against Macon County when the teams last played on January 13th, falling 61-16. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Cochran, who went 10 for 19 on her way to 22 points along with eight boards and three steals.
