Sadly, Trevor Wesley posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Mitchell over Land O' Lakes on Friday. Land O' Lakes had no answer to Wesley as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk).
Wesley and Mitchell will be playing in front of their home fans against Jesuit at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wesley has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 1.5 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Jesuit has only allowed 7.7 per game this season.
