Baseball Recap: Leander Comes Up Short

Leander lost against Rouse back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leander's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-2. As for Rouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6-2 record this season.

While Leander had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
