Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Maryville Spoofhounds, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spoofhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Maryville, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lafayette is set to take on their familiar foe Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Maryville will challenge rival Savannah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
