Paxton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Graceville Tigers 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since December 20, 2024.

Ryker Stokes was the offensive standout of the matchup as he went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Garrett Lowry, who posted eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Graceville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamari Gilyard, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Washington, who scored eight points.

Paxton now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Graceville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-11.
