Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon had won four straight games and Tehani Shigematsu did her part to make it five on Friday. The Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate took their matchup with ease, bagging a 43-7 win over the Western Warriors thanks in part to Shigematsu, who threw for 183 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 93 yards and one touchdown. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.3 points per game. As for Western, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon and Western will both be playing Boulder City the next time they take the field. Western will head out to face Boulder City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
