Volleyball Recap: Cedartown Takes a Loss

Cedartown was the 2-1 winner over Model when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-12.

Cedartown's offense was headlined by Mary Kirsch and Joselin Cruz, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Layla Jackson and her three assists.

Cedartown's loss dropped their record down to 11-26. As for Model, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-6.

Coming up, Cedartown will host East Paulding at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Model, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Calhoun on the 27th.
