Basketball Game Preview: West Field Longhorns vs. Logan Grizzlies

The West Field Longhorns will head out to face off against the Logan Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

If West Field beats Logan with 62 points on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. West Field walked away with a 62-50 victory over Sky View on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Meanwhile, Logan and Bear River faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Saturday. Logan took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bear River. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Field's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

West Field was able to grind out a solid victory over Logan in their previous meeting back in January, winning 59-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Logan's Reed Olsen, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards.
