Recap: Oak Grove Panthers vs. Center Yellowjackets
The Oak Grove Panthers lost against the Center Yellowjackets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Oak Grove took a serious blow against Center, falling 69-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Oak Grove has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Oak Grove had strong showings from Phillip Nadeau, who scored 17 points, and Aaron Reeves, who scored six points.
Oak Grove struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Oak Grove has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Center, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Oak Grove and Warrensburg will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Center will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ruskin at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
