Baseball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian Academy lost against Antioch Christian Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Gators, falling 14-3. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nick Reynoso was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.

Liberty Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Antioch Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sandhills Classical Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Antioch Christian Academy, they will face off against Mintz Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
