Recap: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Lincoln County Falcons
The Spring Hill Raiders suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Lincoln County at home and fell 63-32. Spring Hill has struggled against Lincoln County recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Spring Hill had strong showings from Meme Goodman, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks, and Jeycelyn Brashear, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and five blocks. Brashear hasn't dropped below two blocks for 15 straight games. Mariya Ramzy was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Spring Hill now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Lincoln County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Shelbyville Central the next time they take the court. Lincoln County will host Shelbyville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Spring Hill will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
