            Soccer Recap: Gray's Creek vs. Douglas Byrd        
        
		
        
        
             Gray's Creek had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Douglas Byrd Eagles  a   7-0 shutout.  Ayden Arnold was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.
 Gray's Creek pushed their record up to 7-5-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Douglas Byrd,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-10.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing Lumberton the next time they take the pitch. Douglas Byrd will head out to face Lumberton at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Gray's Creek will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
