Baseball Game Preview: Schuylerville Horses vs. Amsterdam Rams

For the second straight game, Schuylerville will face off against Amsterdam. The Horses will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Schuylerville was able to grind out a solid victory over Amsterdam, taking the game 9-6. The Horses haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Caden Morris was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jack Sydor, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The victory got Schuylerville back to even at 6-6. As for Amsterdam, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
