Baseball Recap: Sperry Takes a Loss

Sperry lost against Kiefer on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sperry Pirates took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kiefer Trojans. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sperry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Blaylock, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Blaylock also scored a run, marking his first of the season.

Sperry's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Kiefer, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Sperry will head out on the road to challenge Mannford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kiefer, they will challenge Boswell at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
