Basketball Recap: Westbrook Comes Up Short

Westbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Portland Highlanders 73-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-41 back in December of 2025.

Westbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Portland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

Westbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-27 loss against Old Lyme on the 12th. Portland has also already played their next matchup (against Coginchaug Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
