Soccer Recap: Hazen Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Hazen has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 3-0 to the Harwood Highlanders on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hazen of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Hazen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Harwood, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hazen is set to challenge their familiar foe Montpelier at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Harwood will square off against rival North Country Union at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
