Soccer Recap: Stevens Point Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

While Stevens Point's win against Wausau West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Stevens Point wouldn't have won without Zachariah Zillman, who scored the game-winner.

The victory made it two in a row for Stevens Point and bumps their season record up to 6-2-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two contests. As for Wausau West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11-1.
