Volleyball Recap: Tupelo Christian Prep's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Mantachie on Friday, Tupelo Christian Prep came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Walnut Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tupelo Christian Prep fell to 5-1. As for Walnut, their victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Tupelo Christian Prep will head out to face off against East Union at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Walnut has already played their next contest (against Ingomar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
