Basketball Recap: Lone Peak Big Horns vs. Jefferson Panthers
Lone Peak has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Panthers on Thursday. The Big Horns were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 63-58.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Frydenlund, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. Frydenlund has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Stevens, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points and eight boards.
Lone Peak's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
