Basketball Recap: Bishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Bishop Carroll was the 59-56 winner over Central Cambria when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bishop Carroll Huskies came up short against the Central Cambria Red Devils on Friday, falling 51-31.

Bishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Central Cambria, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Bishop Carroll and Central Cambria should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Bishop Carroll (ranked 96th) will meet Somerset (ranked 457th) at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Carroll is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Central Cambria will take on Chestnut Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday up 484 places (135 vs. 619).
