Volleyball Game Preview: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs + How To Watch

Walnut Hills hasn't had much luck against St. Ursula Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

Walnut Hills lost 3-0 to Little Miami last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-21.

Meanwhile, St. Ursula Academy faced Archbishop McNicholas in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Thursday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While St. Ursula Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Archbishop McNicholas scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-21.

St. Ursula Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Walnut Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Walnut Hills suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to St. Ursula Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2020. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
