Football Recap: Eau Claire Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Eau Claire lost against Chester back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shamrocks had to suffer through a 41-8 loss at the hands of the Cyclones. The game marked the Shamrocks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jakobe Starks-Wright led the charge by rushing for 75 yards and one TD on only six carries. Darriyarn Baxley was in the mix too, providing the Cyclones with one score.

This is the second loss in a row for Eau Claire and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Chester, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Eau Claire and Chester will both be playing Fairfield Central the next time they take the field. The Cyclones will host the Griffins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Shamrocks will host them at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
