Basketball Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Louisville Lions
Palmyra and Louisville are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Palmyra beat Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer 53-46. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Harrison Boyte had an outrageously good game as he went 6-for-9 on his way to 27 points. He is becoming a predictor of Palmyra's success: when he posts at least 20 points the team is 2-1 (and 3-16 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Ryan Mayo, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.
Meanwhile, Louisville's game on Friday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 61-57 victory over Elmwood-Murdock.
Louisville's win came from a few key players Palmyra will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jase Ostblom, who posted 13 points. Keegan Witte was another key player, putting up 13 points.
