Baseball Recap: Durango Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bonanza on Tuesday, Durango came back down to earth. The Trailblazers fell just short of the Palo Verde Panthers by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. The Trailblazers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Josiah Lavea-Aldridge was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Durango's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Palo Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.
