Shenandoah has gone a perfect 7-0 against Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Raiders will head out to face off against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Shenandoah didn't have quite enough to beat Hagerstown and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Shenandoah took Hagerstown into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-14, 25-13, 26-28, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Union lost 3-0 to Winchester Community on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Shenandoah, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Everything went Shenandoah's way against Union in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Shenandoah made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
