Torres' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Academia Avance, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Torres didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-18 victory against Esperanza College Prep on the 18th. As for Academia Avance, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alliance Bloomfield at 2:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Academia Avance is facing Alliance Bloomfield at the right time seeing as Alliance Bloomfield is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
