Basketball Recap: Jordan Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

While Jordan didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past the Randolph Rockets with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 81-63. Given the Hubmen / Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Rockets are ranked 235th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jordan's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will venture away from home to face off against Providence Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jordan is facing Providence Academy at the right time seeing as Providence Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Randolph, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
