Volleyball Recap: John F. Kennedy Comes Up Short

John F. Kennedy lost against Lytle back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

Julianne Sanchez paced John F. Kennedy's offense, picking up six kills. Sanchez got some help from Ariel Casarez and her nine assists. Marilly Castaneda controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

John F. Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lytle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coincidentally, John F. Kennedy and Lytle will both be playing Randolph the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Ro-Hawks at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
