The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Alexander Barrett, who threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns. 96 of those passing yards were hauled in by Anthony Hill, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Meanwhile, while Walker put up plenty of points last Friday, the same can't be said for Heritage. Walker blew past Heritage, posting a 33-0 win at home. The Wolverines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Business Engineering Science Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Walker, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Business Engineering Science Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Walker in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, winning 24-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for Business Engineering Science Tech since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
