Softball Recap: Dunedin Falcons vs. Northeast Vikings

Dunedin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They suffered a tough 15-4 loss at the hands of the Northeast Vikings. Dunedin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northeast apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

On Northeast's side, Savanna Hogsten made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Hogsten has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Hogsten was also solid in the batter's box, going 4-for-4 with two RBI.
