Volleyball Recap: Santiago Takes a Loss

Santiago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bolsa Grande Matadors. The Cavaliers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Matadors earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Santiago's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Bolsa Grande, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Santiago will face off against rival Estancia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bolsa Grande is set to challenge their familiar foe Rancho Alamitos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
