Basketball Recap: Masterman Comes Up Short

Masterman had lost seven straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-12 to make it eight. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Motivation Jaguars. Masterman was not able to make up for their loss to Motivation from their previous meeting back in January of 2025.

As for Motivation, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games.

Chace White had another great game (as he tends to do), putting up 33 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Motivation's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amare Gadson, who posted eight points.
