Volleyball Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the South Pontotoc Cougars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21.

Hunter Hill paced Heritage Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Hill got some help from Laura Lea Sharp and her five assists.

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for South Pontotoc, they moved to 3-8-2 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Heritage Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Kosciusko on the 16th. As for South Pontotoc, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Hatley on the 18th.
