Basketball Recap: Pennington Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Pennington won the last time they faced Appalachian and things went their way on Monday too. The Pennington Tigers took down the Appalachian Eagles 52-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Pennington pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Appalachian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Pennington will square off against Vinemont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vinemont will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pennington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Appalachian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-26 win against Coosa Christian on the 14th.
