Baseball Recap: Oxford Wildcats vs. Walled Lake Western Warriors
Oxford posted their closest win since May 13th on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Walled Lake Western Warriors 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Bradley Bieniasz looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Max Lovins was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nolan Mauser, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.
Oxford's victory bumped their record up to 21-14-1. As for Walled Lake Western, they dropped their record down to 15-19-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
As of now, neither Oxford nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
