Softball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Rogers Royals

The Buffalo Bison will challenge the Rogers Royals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Buffalo and Wayzata meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Bison came up short against the Trojans, falling 16-6.

Alyana Feekes was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Hadyn Johnson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Rogers got themselves on the board against Blaine on Thursday, but Blaine never followed suit. They blew past the Bengals 8-0. The Royals have beaten the Bengals the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bengals has come to flipping the script.

Rogers now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Buffalo, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
