Basketball Recap: Escalante Takes a Loss

Escalante was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fredonia Lynx. If the Moquis were looking for revenge after losing 41-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fredonia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gracie Castor out in front who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Neveya Estrada, who had eight points.

Escalante now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Fredonia, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Escalante didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-27 loss against Milford on the 22nd. As for Fredonia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-29 win against El Capitan on the 22nd.
