Softball Recap: Covington's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

If Covington was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Seeger on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Patriots on Tuesday, falling 18-1. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 6-0.

Covington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Sutherlin, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
