Volleyball Recap: John Champe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

John Champe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Freedom Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While John Champe had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 25-18.

John Champe's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Freedom, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. John Champe will venture away from home to take on Potomac Falls at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Freedom, they will head out to square off against Tuscarora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
