            Softball Recap: DeWitt Clinton Governors vs. Math Science & Engineering        
        
		
        
        
            DeWitt Clinton had lost three straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 3-4 to make it four. They lost  15-2 to Math Science & Engineering. Having soared to a lofty 17  runs in the game before, the Governors couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for Math Science & Engineering, the  win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 16.0 runs this season.
 For Math Science & Engineering's part,  Annalie Merkel was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with seven  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. That  RBI was  Merkel's first of the season.  Clodagh Finucane was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeWitt Clinton will take on Laguardia at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Math Science & Engineering, they will square off against Bronx High School of Science at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
