Soccer Recap: Emery Comes Up Short

Emery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Union Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Emery of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Emery's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Union, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Emery will face off against Carbon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carbon will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Emery surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union, they will venture away from home to challenge Manti at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
