Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-27 loss at the hands of the Ira Bulldogs. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Ira, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
