Soccer Recap: Marana Takes a Loss

Marana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Sunnyside Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in January.

Marana's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Sunnyside, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Marana will square off against Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tucson High Magnet School's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sunnyside, they will challenge Rincon/University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunnyside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.4 goals per game this season.
