Olympian extended their postseason success on Friday against San Dieguito Academy. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 4-3. The Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Alexandra Perez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacqui De Murguia, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Olympian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Dieguito Academy struck out eight times.

Olympian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-12-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for San Dieguito Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7-1.

Olympian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Dieguito Academy, they will take on Coastal Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
