Fall Creek had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Stanley-Boyd Orioles get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Thursday. The Crickets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.

Fall Creek is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Stanley-Boyd, they moved to 19-5 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.
